Summer Watermelon Bowl
In the heat of the summer, a bite into juicy watermelon is just what the doctor ordered! In the northern hemisphere, watermelon is at its peak in the summer, so we definitely want to take advantage of it! If you see them in your local farmer’s market, get one! Local watermelons are the freshest because it has the least amount of time between being removed from the vine to your home.

Serves 4
Watermelon (cut) 1, small, about 4-5 lb
Persian Cucumber (thinly sliced) 1
Mint (chopped) 1/4 cup
Lime (juiced) 1-2
Coarse Salt 1/2 tsp
Prep the ingredients by cutting the watermelon and removing the rind, slicing the cucumber, and chopping the mint.
In a large bowl, line the bottom with cut watermelon, sprinkle the sliced cucumber and chopped mint, squeeze the lime juice and throw in some coarse salt. Repeat the layers until the bowl is full or nearly full. Enjoy✨
